was any of that, the polls, the ads, or hurricane sandy, were all of those things factors that tipped the scales in favor of the president. >> everybody likes to pontificate the day after. i'm sure it played a part in it. we'll know in the next few weeks whether all of it played a part in it. for i fact that, if you look at the polling based off of what came out this summer and what came out this fall, mitt romney was defined in the campaign. the romney campaign did not shoot back, did not fight back earlier in the summer. that held. that stuck. the debates pushed him back up but in the end, the obama campaign hay great turnout machine. i mean unprecedented in turnout machine. i oversaw the turnout with bush in the re-elect in 2004 and when you've had five years to build a turnout machine, think about that, the romney campaign had eight months. the obama campaign had five years. we had that same situation in 2004 when we were going against kerry. you have a lot more resource that you can dedicate. you have a better organization. it proved ultimately the victory. >> the next question i
